Dear Jan 6th family,
It is with sadness that we have come to the very hard decision of putting our reunion off until September due to all the strife and infighting in our Jan 6th community.
We feel that the chaos and drama would not be good for our reunion. Above all we are concerned for the safety of all members. We also want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy each other’s company and we feel that at this moment, there would be too much contention. As you know the goal of our yearly reunion, started in 2022, has always been for support and building friendships with J6ers and their families.
There are potentially upcoming lawsuits and we hope that in the coming months we will all be in a better place emotionally and financially.
We know this has been hard on everyone.
We don’t want to cancel the reunion completely, so we’re pushing it back to September for now. We should be back on track for Fourth of July weekend next year when, hopefully we can truly celebrate our freedom together.
